Beaches

Several of Phukets finest islands are just minutes away from Layan Gardens, Phuket apartment development.

  • 3 mins to Layan Beach

    Layan Beach is still the quietest, undeveloped beaches on Phuket and it’s just the perfect getaway beach. There’s a restaurant, a small bar, an even smaller convenience store for essentials like sun cream and snacks and that’s about it.

  • 3 mins to Bangtao Beach

    Phuket’s second longest beach, about 6km of white sand end to end, but still surprisingly quiet. There’s no “Beach Road” so access is via the resorts in the area. Near the resorts there are several little restaurants, shops, water sport facilities but it’s still nice and relaxing.

  • 10 mins to Surin Beach

    Surin Beach is a very popular beach with beautiful white sand. It doesn’t have the same water sports as Patong Beach which for many is a bonus but there’s certainly no shortage of dining options. Surin beach has the widest variety of restaurants available from fine dining and trendy beach clubs to beach restaurants and local street vendors. There’s even convenient free parking.

  • 10 mins to Leam Sing Beach

    Located between Kamala and Surin beach it’s the perfect place to sunbathe or to snorkel. The main part of the beach is brilliant white sand. Along the edges you will find rock outcroppings that just begged to be climbed, snorkelled around and generally investigated. There are a few small Thai style restaurants and a very friendly atmosphere.

  • 15 mins to Kamala Beach

    Not a huge beach but big enough so that you never feel crowded, ideal for swimming and there are nice submerged rocks and corral at the very north of the beach which makes a perfect snorkelling location. Restaurants are plentiful so you can have lunch or refreshments somewhere new almost every day.

  • 25 mins to Patong Beach

    Known for its bars, restaurants, entertainment, Patong Beach is the best known beach on Phuket. Here you’ll find a wide assortment of water-craft as they buzz back and forth over the bright blue water. If you want excitement and nightlife, this is the place to be.

  • 40 mins to Nai Harn Beach

    Nai Harn is a arguably one of the prettiest beaches on Phuket. The locals prefer this beach to the hustle and bustle of Patong. This quiet and tranquil beach has only a handful of hotels is a popular places for in-the-know locals to enjoy a sundowner and relax in one of the local restaurants.

Golf – so many choices

Phuket offers more than its fair share of gold courses, but no ones complaining. Layan Gardens is ideally located just 5 minutes away from the closest course.

    A popular choice with both residents and visitors, this 18 hole, par 72 course offers a relaxing and refreshing 6,555 yard round, perfect for beginners, intermediates and professionals alike to test their skill.

  • 20 mins from Mission Hills Golf Course

    Another championship world-class 18 hole golf course, with a twist. This golfer’s dream course is located amongst mangroves with phenomenal ocean views, play against a picture postcard backdrop featuring white sand bunkers, lush green fairways and turquoise Andaman Sea.

  • 30 mins from Phuket Country Club

    Established in 1989, is the first and one of the finest golf courses built in Phuket, over a reclaimed tin mine site. This club also offers 2 courses, the Old Course provides a strenuous resort 18-hole, 6483 yards, par 72 golf game. Then there’s the Country Club Course which is a 9-hole par 36 course, particularly suitable for the low handicap golfer.

You don’t need to go far to find anything, a whole range of restaurants and bars are within minutes of Layan Gardens. The only problem you’ll face, is picking where to go first.

  • 5 mins to Tinlay Place

    Tinlay Place, at the Phuket Laguna entrance, has a cluster of bars and restaurants that have a faithful long-term expatriate following. From early evening on you’ll find people heading towards one of the many Bar or restaurants such as the Siam Supper Club, Tatonka, Salvatore’s Italian, Bake and the Black Cat. All perfect to catch up with friends and enjoy good food, wine and good music.
